 Quebec issues 69 invitations in new Arrima draw | Oris Visas Quebec immigration held its fifth draw of 2021 through the Arrima Expression of Interest system. Quebec invited 69 immigration candidates to apply for permanent selection. Details of this latest round of invitations have been released today. The Ministère de l’Immigration, de la Francisation et de l’Intégration (MIFI) invited candidates under the  Regular Skilled Worker Program (RSWP)  who had filed an  Expression of Interest  (EOI) in Quebec’s online registration portal,  Arrima . An EOI is not an application. It is a way for candidates to notify Quebec’s Ministry of Immigration that they would like to be considered for a  Quebec Selection Certificate  or CSQ. When they receive a CSQ candidates can apply for permanent residence with the federal government.    Oris Visas | New British Columbia draws invite 395 PNP candidates  B.C. has now issued 5730 invitations to apply for a provincial nomination since the start of the year. British Columbia invited 395 immigration candidates in two  Provincial Nominee Program  (PNP) draws held on June 22, 2021. B.C. has been conducting two separate rounds of invitations under its PNP program since February. The province holds a general draw and a second draw targeting retail and wholesale trade managers as well as restaurant and food service managers. According to information released by the province, this second draw is due to a high number of people registered in the BC PNP Skills Immigration Registration System (SIRS) with these two occupations. By holding these additional draws, the province aims to balance the needs in all sectors of the provincial labour market. Canada invited 1,002 immigration candidates to apply for permanent residence in the latest Express Entry draw. All invited candidates had previously received a nomination from a  Provincial Nominee Program   (PNP). This is why the score cut-off was relatively high at 742, because all PNP candidates in the Express Entry pool automatically get 600 points added to their score. As per administrative requirements,  Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada  (IRCC) published a cutoff time for the  tie-break rule , whether or not there was any actual tie. In the new draw, candidates who had the minimum score were only invited if they submitted their Express Entry profile before February 18, 2021 at 04:04:56 UTC. A total of 141 Manitoba immigration candidates were invited to apply for a provincial nomination on June 17. If they successfully receive the nomination from the   Manitoba Provincial Nominee   Program  (MPNP), it will support their final application for Canadian   permanent   residence . Skilled worker candidates needed to have profiles in Manitoba’s  Expression of   Interest  (EOI) system in order to be invited.    Approved immigrants can travel to Canada as of June 22  | Oris Visas Valid COPR holders can now enter Canada. Some 23,000 Confirmation of Permanent Residence have been issued since Canada introduced coronavirus travel restrictions in March 2020. Valid Confirmation of Permanent Residence (COPR) holders can complete their landing in Canada as of today, June 21, 2021. The Government of Canada  made the announcement  this morning at 10 AM Eastern Standard Time (EST). Discover if You’re Eligible for Canadian Immigration In its announcement, the Canadian government said that the COPR must be valid for an individual to travel to Canada to complete their landing. Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada   (IRCC)  is working with expired COPR holders to reissue new COPRs. A COPR is issued to those who have been approved by IRCC to   immigrate to Canada .  This means the individual has met IRCC’s program criteria, paid their fees, and passed health, security, and criminality screenings.

  Saskatchewan PNP: 255 new invitations issued | Oris Visas The June draw targeted Express Entry and Occupations In-Demand candidates with skills and experience in one of 55 occupations. Saskatchewan held a new draw on June 15, issuing 255 invitations to apply for a provincial nomination. The invitations went to candidates who may be eligible for a nomination from the  Saskatchewan Immigrant Nominee Program  (SINP), specifically from the   International Skilled Worker  category. Of those invited, 103 may be eligible for the SINP’s  Express Entry subcategory , and 152 through the   Occupations In-Demand sub-category . The two new draws resulted in a comparable number of invitations to  previous selection rounds  through Saskatchewan’s International Skilled Worker  Expression of Interest  (EOI) system.
