  Oris Visas || Manitoba invites 278 in latest PNP draw Manitoba has now invited 1,309 immigration candidates to apply for a provincial nomination in 2022. Manitoba released details of a new immigration draw held on February 24. The  Manitoba Provincial Nominee Program  (MPNP) invited candidates across three  Provincial Nominee Programs  (PNPs). Here are the number of invitations issued for each program as well as the minimum score cut-off according to the province’s Expression of Interest (EOI) system: Skilled Workers in Manitoba  — 206 invitations with a minimum score of 612; Skilled Workers Overseas  — 39 invitations with a minimum score of 685; and International Education Stream  — 33 invitations with no score requirement.   Oris Visas || Ontario PNP removes CRS cap again in Skilled Trades draw For the second time in two days, Express Entry candidates did not have a CRS cap in the new Ontario PNP draw. Ontario invited 818 Express Entry candidates to apply for a provincial nomination on February 24. The  Ontario Immigrant Nominee Program  (OINP) invited candidates who may be eligible for the  Ontario Express Entry Skilled Trades Stream . These candidates needed to have a profile in the Express Entry system with a  Comprehensive Ranking System  (CRS) score of at least 359. Ontario invited candidates who had created an Express Entry profile between the dates of February 24, 2021, and February 24, 2022. For the second time in a row, Ontario removed its CRS cap. The maximum points an Express Entry candidate can get without a provincial nomination is 600. On February 22, Ontario invited 773  Express Entry  candidates working in targeted occupations to apply for a provincial nomination. The  Ontario Immigrant Nominee Program  (OINP) invited candidates who may be eligible for the  Express Entry Human Capital Priorities Stream  (HCP). These candidates needed to have a profile in the Express Entry system with a  Comprehensive Ranking System   (CRS) score between 455 and 600.   Oris Visas || British Columbia invites 160 candidates in PNP draws British Columbia has now issued over 1,300 invitations to apply for provincial nomination since the start of the year British Columbia invited 160 immigration candidates through  Provincial Nominee Program  (PNP) draws held on February 22. The province held two draws through the  British Columbia Provincial Nominee Program  (BC PNP) and invited candidates from the  Skills Immigration  (SI) and  Express Entry BC  (EEBC) streams. Invitations were issued to those from the  Skilled Worker ,  International Graduate  as well as  Entry Level and Semi-Skilled  sub-categories of SI and EEBC streams. Quebec invited 523 skilled workers to apply for permanent selection on February 10. The invitations were issued by the Ministère de l’Immigration, de la Francisation et de l’Intégration (MIFI) to immigration candidates applying under the  Quebec Regular Skilled Worker Program  (QSWP). On February 16, Alberta Premier Jason Kenney announced the province’s immigration department would be changing its name and adding two new immigration programs. Two days later, Alberta announced its  Provincial Nominee Program  (PNP) draw results from earlier this month. On February 1, Alberta invited 400  Express Entry  candidates to apply for the  Alberta Express Entry stream . Express Entry candidates needed a  Comprehensive Ranking System  (CRS) score of at least 340 in order to be invited to apply for a provincial nomination. If they receive the nomination, they will get 600 points added to their score and be eligible for an  Express Entry PNP round of invitations . British Columbia invited 140 tech workers to apply for a provincial nomination on February 15. The invitations were issued through the BC PNP Tech, which is a stream under the  British Columbia Provincial Nominee Program  (BC PNP). The BC PNP is an economic immigration pathway used by the province of British Columbia to attract experienced, high-demand foreign workers.
